The Beirut Arab University is one of the prestigious private universities in Lebanon.  SJCO was commissioned the project of developing the new University Campus in Debbieh-Shouf, 33 km away from the Capital Beirut. The land has an area of 1,353,000 m² encompassing 4 hills that overlook the Mediterranean Sea.

The design project consisted of preparing the master plan project for the Debbieh Campus, in addition to designing all educational facilities, accommodation for students and faculty members, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and all required services and infrastructure. 

The campus buildings’ together with the area’s exceptional landscape creates numerous open spaces allowing for a positive and healthy academic environment enjoyed by students, faculty members and visitors.

The design was developed and executed in three phases:
  • Phase 1: Administration & Faculty of Architecture Building, and Dormitories Buildings. 
  • Phase 2: Faculties of Engineering & Sciences Buildings, University Mosque, Dormitories, and Power Block.
  • Phase 3: Indoor and outdoor Gymnasium, Sciences Laboratories Building, Sewage Treatment Plant, Storage and Water Tanks.
Services undertaken by the office: 
Master planning, Design, Execution Drawings, Site Supervision and Project Management.
